1. Some ACER Laptop AS10D31 Batteries may have been put in the warehouse for a long period, so they may show inaccurately when you use them for the first time. At this condition, you need to fully discharge and charge your AS10D31 Battery to optimaze its performance. A typical charge and discharge cycle is as follow:
- Install your newly purchased battery into your laptop
- Disconnect the AC adapter and use your laptop until it itself shuts down. In this situation, the battery is fully discharged.
- Connect the AC adapter and your battery should start charging.
- Charge until the battery is full.
2. There may be something wrong with your ACER adapter. This one is easy for you to test. Pemove your ACER Laptop AS10D31 battery from your laptop, then plug your adapter to the wall socket. Let your Laptop work only with the adapter. If your ACER laptop can work well for several hours, then you can make a conclution that your ACER adapter is fine.
